Clara Snyder, 98, of Wellsville, Ohio, passed away, Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, at East Liver Pool City Hospital.
She was born on Sept. 23, 1924, in Hocking, Ohio, to the late Richard and Anna (Marks) Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fuller Snyder; six brothers, Frank, Hardy, Calvin, Albert, Richard and Jesse Smith; and three sisters, Anna Smith, Josephine Catlin and Minnie McLaughlin.
Clara was a member of Mt. Sinai Fire Baptized Church. She loved working with the youth. She was involved with the Girls Assembly and was an honorary member of Eastern Star. In her spare time, Clara enjoyed reading and making quilts.
Clara is survived by three sisters, Dorothy (Martin) Dalton of Wintersville, Ohio, Annabelle Cochran of Lorain, Ohio and Evelyn Bushman of Wellsville, Ohio; her sister in-law, Wilma Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Clara and celebrate her life on Saturday, Oct. 22, from noon until the time of service of 1 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, Ohio, with Pastor Mary Kidd officiating.
