John "Lumpy" Lawrence, 52, of Wellsville passed away Aug. 24, 2022.
Born Dec. 12, 1969 in East Liverpool, Ohio, he was the son of the late James and Gail (Clutter) Lawrence.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James L. Lawrence; and a sister, Dona McCallister
He was a member West Point Rod and Gun. He was the owner of Lumpy Critter Getter.
Surviving are his wife, Myrtle (Carman) Lawrence of Wellsville; four daughters, Paige Lawrence of Toronto, Betty Sattler of Wellsville, Trisha (Skyler) Sattler of Salineville and Rikki (Jordan) Miller of East Liverpool; two sons, Angelo Avery Jr. of Ohio and Aymed (Ashley) Thornton of Pennsylvania; and 15 grandchildren.
Also surviving are four brothers, Rick Lawrence of Hammondsville, Clayton (Audrey) Lawrence of Virginia, Kenny (Virginia) Lawrence of East Liverpool and Gary (Amy) Wilson of Wellsville; and four sisters, Vickey Gochenour of East Liverpool, Mary Lawrence of East Liverpool, Martha Martin- Wilton of Maine and Lori Lawrence of East Liverpool.
Visitation is from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022, at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, W.Va.
