NEGLEY, OH - Doris Ann Dailey, of Negley, passed away at her home Sunday evening, August 21, 2022. She was 94.
Born in Negley, January 23, 1928, she was a daughter of the late John and Charlotte Mae Lyon Owen. She was a graduate of the former Newell High School and enjoyed square dancing, playing cards and traveling. At one time, she worked at American Paper Products and she was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Dailey, Sr. She was also preceded by three sisters, Arlene Nelson, Louise Wright, and Neva Owen, as well as five brothers, William, Richard, John, Edson and Edwin Owen.
Survivors include two sons, Fred E. Dailey, Jr. and his wife, Linda, of St. Marys, West Virginia, and Thomas E. Dailey and his wife, Vickie, of Negley. There are four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pastor James Rhodes will conduct a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Following the service, family and friends will gather for fellowship at the Dawson Family Center.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in care of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 49255 Pancake-Clarkson Rd, Rogers, OH 44455.
