WELLSVILLE -- Robert Christen, 80, of Wellsville, passed suddenly, Monday, July 11, 2022, at his home.
Born December 10, 1941, in East Liverpool, he was the son of the late Laird and Margaret Hughes Christen.
He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rebecca Christen and by his brother-in-law, Paul Dustman.
Bob was a graduate of East Liverpool High School Class of 1961. He was employed at Crucible Steel until their closure. Bob also formerly worked at Summitville Tile, Freshmark and Turkana Golf Course.
He was a member of Wellsville Elks Lodge # 1040, Wellsville Eagles Club and Orioles in East Liverpool.
Bob will be deeply missed by his sons, Robert Christen Jr. and his wife, Barbara of Calcutta and William Christen and his wife, Tina of Lompoc, CA.; daughter, Patricia Grace and her husband Mike of Brecksville, OH.; sister, Doris Dustman of Springfield. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Robert Christen III, Jason Christen, Taylor Christen, Morgan Christen, Michael Buchheit, Stevie Tranter, and Cael and Cole Grace and 2 great grandchildren, Lexi Tranter and Violet Buchheit.
Per Bob's wishes no services will be planned at this time. Arrangements were handled by the Arner Funeral Chapel.
