Larry B. Parson

Larry B. Parson, born July 11, 1969, in East Liverpool, Ohio, he passed away suddenly on July 5, 2022, at his home in Columbus, Ohio, at the age of 52. He was the son of Walter (Brent) Parson and his wife Korrine (Hoppy) Parson. He was preceded in death by his mother Cynthia Vernon Parson, his Maternal Grandparents Robert(Bob) L. Vernon and Elsie Mae (Nan) Dorsey Vernon, and his Paternal Grandparents John Walter Parson and Grace M. Speaks Parson Hayes Douglas.

Larry was a graduate of Sequoyah High School, Class of 1987 in Doraville, Georgia. He enlisted into the U.S. Army and served in the 82nd Airborne Division as a Paratrooper. He worked as a carpenter on numerous projects between Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio.

He loved Ohio State Football and the Green Bay Packers, He was an avid cook on the grill who loved to make people laugh with his storytelling and spending time with his family.

Larry is survived by his 4 children, Arian Parson, Kira Parson and twin sons Larry Parson II and Sean Parson; 2 Step-Daughters Jordyn Esposito and Donja Hockenberry, and 3 Grand children, all of Columbus, Ohio; his sister Zina Vernon of Columbus, Ohio; half-brother Jeff Straight of Struthers, Ohio; Step siblings Melinda Springer of Columbus, Ohio, and CW3(Ret) Mark A. Springer and his wife Chastity of Phenix City, Al. He leaves behind a large family of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews who will sadly miss him.

There will be no Funeral services as the family has planned a gathering and Memorial to celebrate his life for all Family and friends of Larry. The Memorial will be held at the American Legion in East End on July 19, 2022 at 4 p.m.
