Betty Jo Congo Bruce of Gotha, Fla. passed away June 15 2022. She was born April 22,1958 at East Liverpool City Hospital daughter of the late Marion Congo and Emma Jo Congo.
Betty Jo leaves behind her son John Gatrell of Florida, siblings: Larry Congo of East Liverpool, Joyce (Durand) Champney of Leetonia, Brother-In-Law Bill Hess of East Liverpool, Carl (Susan) Congo of East Liverpool and Bruce Congo of Chester, W.Va.
Besides her parents she was proceded in death by a sister, Jacquelin Congo Hess.
Betty Jo had numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. All her nieces and nephews fondly called her Aunt B. She loved them all and they loved her.
Betty Jo worked for Pizza Hut as a manager for 5 years in Ashtabula. She worked for Disney World for 33 years as a head bartender. Betty Jo also established and opened 9 resorts for Disney World
She loved animals and adopted several from the animal shelter and they became her furry family for life
Betty Jo stated of all her achievements in her life, that her son John was her greatest achievement that God gave her.
Her Family will miss her joyous love and laughter that she showed everyone.
Baby Sister all our memories of you, we will hold in our hearts, till we meet once again.
