WELLSVILLE -- Steven Maxwell Kestle, 82, of Wellsville, passed away, May 22, 2022. He was born June 22, 1939, in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of the late Ora and Ruth (Herrick) Kestle.
Mr. Maxell was a retired school teacher for Parkway School District; a member of the NRA, AMC, Tri State Coon Hunters Club, the AARP and the Teachers Association.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Susie Sgro.
Surviving are his wife, Denise Persohn of Wellsville; a daughter, Terri McKee of Calif; stepson, Christopher Martin of Wisconsin; step-daughter, Amalyn Martin of Missouri; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
At Steven's request no services will be held. The Nixon Funeral Home handled arrangements.
