NEW CUMBERLAND -- Patricia Viola "Patty" Swearingen, 84, of New Cumberland,WV passed away Sunday, February 13,2022 at Stone Pear Pavilion.
She was born March 17, 1937 in East Liverpool, OH a daughter of the late Bernard O' Neil & Beatrice Leone (Chamberlain) Watson. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Jon Watson and Lynn Watson.
Patty was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Choir; the New Cumberland Women's Club; Beaver Creek Meadows Ladies Golf League and was a Homemaker.
Surviving are her loving husband Hervey W. "Bill" Swearingen at home; 2 daughters Jody (Ralph) Mitchell of Aspen, CO and Marcy (Argyle) Dillon of Reynoldsburg, OH; a sister Sue (Eugene) Paugh of Ozark, MO and a brother James ( JoAnn) Watson of Steubenville, Oh; 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Turley Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 – 4 p.m. & 6 – 8 p.m. then Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 12 p.m.
Services will be there Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 12 p.m. with Pastor Robert Staub officiating. Interment will follow in the New Cumberland Cemetery.
