EAST LIVERPOOL --Deloris J. Boyd, 80, of East Liverpool, passed Sunday, January 9, 2022, at East Liverpool City Hospital following complications with COVID-19.
Born January 18, 1941, in New Castle, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Sharek Wyza.
Deloris was preceded in death by her son, Brian Boyd, and by her niece, Lindsey Gilson.
She was a graduate of Shenango High School in New Castle, Pa. Deloris had a special love for animals and she enjoyed reading and listening to gospel music in her spare time.
Deloris will be deeply missed by her loving husband whom she married on January 28, 1961, William Clyde Boyd Sr.; sons, William Boyd Jr. of East Liverpool Jeffrey Boyd of Wellsville and Bradley Boyd of Stratton; brother, Joseph Wyza, and his wife, Cheryl of Florida; and a sister, Debra Nailor of East Liverpool. She will also be missed by her seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Private entombment will be held at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens in Newell. Deloris' arrangements were entrusted with the Arner Funeral Chapel.
