NEWELL -- Allan Gerald Smith, 84, of Newell, passed away January 19, 2022.
Born September 13, 1937 in East Liverpool, Ohio, he was the son of the late Taylor and Hyascinth (Seevers) Smith.
He retired after 25years of servicing in the United States Air Force.
He was also a member of the Chester VFW.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Friley) Smith; and a daughter, Melody Starr Zimerman.
Surviving are his daughter, Diana Smith of Newell; two grandchildren, Aaron (Kylee) Taylor of Texas and Stephnie Stilwell (Hooper Randy) of East Liverpool; two great-grandchildren, Damien, Eli, Avah and Alora.
Private arrangements were handled by the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, WV.
