EAST LIVERPOOL - Lee Edward Mick, of East Liverpool, passed away suddenly Monday afternoon, Nov. 29, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was 81.
Born in Springfield, Ohio, June 8, 1940, he was a son of the late Frank and Vivian Mick. A resident of this area most of his life, he worked for Conrail as an engineer and conductor until his retirement. Previously, he worked at Sanford Plumbing. He also co-owned Mimi's Sunshine Tanning Salon along with his wife. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret "Mimi" Anderson Mick, at home. The couple married June 21, 1961. He is also survived by a son, Scott L. Mick of East Liverpool, as well as two grandchildren, Taylor and Dalaney Mick. He will also be sadly missed by his beloved grandpup Zeke.
He also leaves behind a sister, Jean Simpson of Lexington, Kentucky, and two brothers, Richard Mick of Nicholasville, Kentucky, and Jay Mick of Hendersonville, Tennessee.
The Rev. Willard Chuck Adkins will conduct a funeral service on Saturday, Dec. 11, at noon p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park where the Tri-State Veterans Burial Group will conduct military honors.
