CARROLLTON -- Georgia L. Allison, 85, of Wellsville, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Carroll Health Care in Carrollton, OH.
Born, August 14, 1936, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of the late Robert Thomas and Clara Belle Stanley Russell.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe Allison, brothers, Wayne, Stanley and Dennis Russell, and by her sister, Mary Campbell.
Georgia attended Wellsville High School. She worked for many years as a waitress, formerly working at Bricker's in East Liverpool and the former Motor Lodge, where she was better known as the "Muffin Lady". She most recently retired from Walmart in East Liverpool.
Georgia was an artist, and she was well known for her paintings of the Wellsville Schools and area Churches. She enjoyed crafting in her spare time but the most important thing to her was spending time with her family.
Georgia will be deeply missed by her son, Earl Allison and his wife, Heidi of Hammondsville; daughter, Jenny Ann Spires and her husband, Rob of Marysville, OH.; brothers, Larry Russell of Bellaire and Donald Russell and his wife, Sue of Bremerton, WA.; she will also be missed by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pastor Mark Blakely will celebrate her life, Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 4 p.m., at First Christian Church in Wellsville. Friends may visit with her family at the Church 2 hours prior to the service from 2 – 4 p.m. Private interment will be held at Riverview Cemetery in East Liverpool. The Arner Funeral Chapel was entrusted with Georgia's arrangements.
