Coralie V. Thomas

POLAND -- Coralie V. Thomas, 92, who loved to be called Mom, Gram and MeMaw left her loving family on Friday, Dec. 10, 2021 at the Hospice House in Poland Ohio.

She was born in Homer City, Pa. on Jan. 12, 1929 a daughter of the late Homer Jewart and Lettie (McLaughlin) Jewart.

Having lived most of her life in the area, Coralie worked in the wax room at TRW PCC for 30 years, having retired in 1995 and was a member of the former Assembly of God in Monroeville.

She was an avid shopper on QVC which she absolutely loved to watch. She was very devoted to her church family. Christmas was her favorite time of the year. Her family was the love of her life and she cherished every moment she spent with them.

Coralie was mom to: Gary (Pat) Thomas and David Thomas which she raised with love and devotion in Salineville; grandmother to: Nikki (Chris) Lewis of Salineville, Jake (Amber) Thomas of Pomeroy Ohio, Holly (Josh) Davis of Hammondville and McKaylie Thomas (finance: Dylan DeBolt) of Canton; great-grandmother to: Conner and Kennedy Jo Lewis, Lincoln, Ashlynn and Mia Thomas and Kennedy Renea and Carter Davis and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Coralie was preceded in death by her husband David H. Thomas who died June 22, 1980; two brothers: Dale and Leo Jewart and a sister: Thelma Miller

Services will be held at the Kerr Watson Funeral Home in Salineville on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Pat Smith and Rev. Tim Cashen officiating.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m.
