Barbara ‘Barbie’ Helen Davis

Barbara "Barbie" Helen Davis passed away peacefully in her sleep November 30, 2021 at the age of 51. She was born in East Liverpool on August 15, 1970.

Barbie is survived by her four sisters Tammy Hancock (Tom), Christine Francis, Teresa Davis (Corey Boso) and Stephanie "Stevie" Talbert (Arthur). Her big sisters lovingly describe her as "spoiled" and "a brat," as if they weren't the ones who gave her everything she wanted. Barbie often joked back that although she was the youngest, her sister Stevie was the baby.

Everyone who knew Barbie will miss her huge smile and unforgettable laugh. They will reminisce on her love for the Pittsburgh Steelers and her grumpy cat, Simba.

Mostly, they will be thankful for the time they were able to spend with her and her ability to make every situation a good one. Some of Barbie's favorite jokes were ones made about her having nine fingers - including asking for a discount on a manicure and for specially made gloves.

Since April 1996, Barbie has been in the loving care of her surviving mother and namesake, Barbara Davis, and her father who preceded her in death, Richard Davis.

That April, a car accident left Barbie wheelchair bound and changed the path of many lives. Despite this, she was still the glue that held the family together as her light and positive energy always shined through.

Barbie's memory will live on through her nieces and nephews: Mark Francis, Jr., Cody Francis, Jenna Francis, Amanda (Talbert) Durr, Art Talbert, Jr., Andrew Talbert and Toni Jones. She will also be fondly remembered by her great nieces and nephews: Emily, Alexa and Brielle Francis; Leonardo Francis; Coralee Boso; and Wyatt, Chloe and Jensen Talbert.

Barbie also leaves behind many friends, extended family and the great love of her life, Brian Ours.

Although the hearts of many are broken by her absence, they will always be comforted by remembering her amazing smile and big thumbs up. To have known her was a privilege. To have loved her was an honor.
