Thomas N. ‘Tom’ Bailey I

PITTSBURGH - Thomas N. "Tom" Bailey I, 73, of Chester passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Tom was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on April 11, 1948 a son of the late Nelson and Dorothy (Tams) Bailey. Tom was a graduate of Oak Glen High School class of 1966. He worked at Crucible Steel, Patterson Foundry and later retired from Penn Power. Tom was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Preceding Tom in death were two grandsons Joseph M. Bailey and Robert Bailey, Jr. and sister Connie Bell.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 54 years, whom he married June 3, 1967, Susan (Howard) Bailey; two sons Thomas Bailey II and his wife Kimberly of East Liverpool and Robert Bailey and his wife Caroline of New Manchester; four daughters Peggy Bailey of Salem, Tammy Wright and her husband Matt of East Liverpool, Patricia Stull and her husband Kenny of East Liverpool and Michelle Argabrite and her husband James of Wellsville; 18 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren with one on the way and two sisters Katy Bailey-Bryan and Sally Crum.

Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Wednesday where the family will be present from 1- 4 p.m. Pastor Kenny Stull his son-in-law of Mt. Calvary Community Church will conduct a service on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Immediately following the service there will be a time of fellowship at Elevate Worship Center, Main Street, Wellsville.
