EAST LIVERPOOL -- Linda Lee Brown Davis, of Curry Street in East Liverpool, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 at Embassy of Loyalsock Nursing Home in Montoursville, PA.
Linda was born in East Liverpool on September 16, 1944. a daughter of the late Melvin L. and Bessie Agnes Cramer Brown. She was a graduate of East Liverpool High School class of 1962. Linda began working at a young age at the former Everett's Bakery in the East End. She was later employed by Penn Valu King, and had been a server at Bob Evans and Shift Supervisor/Trainer at Ponderosa restaurant.
Linda was a member of the Lady Moose of East Liverpool, and loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, casinos, and shopping on QVC.
Preceding Linda in death were her husband, whom she married July 25, 1971, Hamilton C. "Ham" Davis; stepdaughter Karen Sue Scheetz and four brothers Edward L. Brown, Melvin F. Brown, Sr., William C. Brown and James A. Brown
Left to cherish her memory are her sons Brian Davis of Poulsbo, WA; Charles "Chip" Davis and his wife Melody of Belton, MO; Melvin "Mel" Davis and his wife Karen of Williamsport, PA; grandchildren Christopher Scheetz of Follansbee, WV; James H. Davis and his wife Megan of Camp Lejeune, NC; and Maredith Pugh and her husband Phil of Harrisonville, MO; numerous great-grandchildren; and brother Donald E. Brown of Wellsville.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Embassy of Loyalsock Nursing Home, for the excellent care and comfort they provided to Linda.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Tuesday where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Pastor Brian Brown of the Lisbon Church of the Nazarene will conduct a service on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Spring Grove Cemetery.
