Linda Baker Morgan

EAST LIVERPOOL — Linda Baker Morgan, of East Liverpool, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021, at the East Liverpool City Hospital. She was 74.

Born in East Liverpool, September 20, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Kendall and Ruth Jones Baker. A resident of this area all her life, she worked as a school bus driver at Beaver Local, a AAA driving instructor and was a tax preparer at H & R Block at one time. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, especially when she was making things for her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin E. “Eddie” Morgan, on October 29, 2021. The couple married September 22, 1967.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: two sons Darin Morgan and his wife Mary Anne of East Liverpool and Jim Morgan and his wife Barbara of East Liverpool, and a daughter Jennifer Cain and her husband Donnie of Rogers. There are nine grandchildren: Matthew Morgan and his wife Jamie of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Chad Blair and his wife Brittany of Canfield, Jacob Morgan of New Cumberland, Jimmy Morgan and his wife Ashley of East Liverpool, Jeremy Morgan of East Liverpool, Brandon Morgan of East Liverpool, Dylan Cain and his wife Courtney of East Liverpool, Dawson Cain and his companion Gionna Hammerle of Lisbon and Morgan Cain of Rogers, as well as four great-grandchildren: Benjamin Blair of Canfield, Arabella Morgan, Cohen Ingle and Tanner Ingle all of Martinsburg.

Also surviving are four sisters, Bonnie Ryan, Nancy Hadley, Diana Rose and Karen Gibson and her husband, Larry.

She also leaves behind her beloved pet donkey, Jack.

Family and friends may visit Friday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Pastor Mark Plegge of the Abundant Life Church will conduct a funeral service Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Friends may also visit one hour prior to the service Saturday.

Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
