EAST LIVERPOOL -- Kenneth A. "Kenny" White, 82, of East Liverpool passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Kenny was born in East Liverpool on October 27, 1939 a son of the late Lester and Anna (Rickerd) White. He worked as a welder at Adamson Tank Company for 17 years. Kenny was the owner of J & K Auto Sales. His favorite hobbies included working on cars, shopping, and listening to country music.
Kenny was a kind and generous man who was always there to lend a helping hand to whomever needed it. He was a loving husband, dad and pap that enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
Kenny was preceded in death by two brothers Lester "Bud" and James C. "J.C." White; brother-in-law Norman Mattern and his best friend and companion of 17 years, his dog, Jake.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 years, whom he married June 10, 1957, Gloria (Wright) White; three sons Joe White and his wife Debbie, John White and his wife Kim and James "Boddie" White and his wife Lynn all of East Liverpool; daughter Joann Bates and her husband Rodney of West Point; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother Elbert White and his wife Sherry of East Liverpool; sister Naomi "Sis" Mattern of Allentown, PA and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit Saturday afternoon at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 – 4 p.m. Pastor Chuck Adkins will conduct a funeral service Saturday at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Spring Grove Cemetery.
Immediately following the service a time of fellowship will be held at the East Liverpool Elks Lodge # 258.
