WELLSVILLE -- George E. Carnes, 61, of Wellsville, passed, Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at East Liverpool City Hospital, following a sudden illness.
Born, April 25, 1960, in East Liverpool, he was the son of the late Shirlen and Emmaline Anderson Carnes.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, John Carnes.
George was formerly employed at the Chester Laundromat, where he dedicated over 35 years.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Norma Carnes; sons, Ronald Buzzard and his companion Vela Jarett, George Carnes Jr. (Santana Douglas) and Randy Carnes (Brittany) all of East Liverpool; daughter, Lisa Nonamaker and her husband, Dave of East Liverpool; 7 grandchildren; 4 brothers and 4 sisters. He will also be missed by his lifelong best friend, Henry Keener and by several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.
Pastor Terry Weyand will celebrate George's life, Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the Arner Funeral Chapel, at 2 p.m. Friends may visit with his family 2 hours prior to the service from Noon – 2 p.m.
