Edwin E. ‘Eddie’ Morgan
EAST LIVERPOOL — Edwin E. “Eddie” Morgan, 74, of East Liverpool passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Eddie was born in New Martinsville, West Virginia on February 11, 1947 a son of the late Coy and Imogene (Travis) Morgan. He was a graduate of Oak Glen High School class of 1966. Eddie was hard working and was always busy doing something. He worked as a mechanic at Cattrell Motors in Weirton and Dellaria Ford in Burgettstown. Eddie was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather that enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed being around people and enjoyed his time with the morning breakfast club at McDonalds.
Preceding Eddie in death was his sister Barbara Melto.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 54 years, whom he married September 22, 1967, Linda (Baker) Morgan; two sons Darin Morgan and his wife Mary Anne of East Liverpool and Jim Morgan and his wife Barbara of East Liverpool; daughter Jennifer Cain and her husband Donnie of Rogers; nine grandchildren Matthew Morgan and his wife Jamie of Martinsburg, W.Va., Chad Blair and his wife Brittany of Canfield, Ohio, Jacob Morgan of New Cumberland, W.Va., Jimmy Morgan and his wife Ashley of East Liverpool, Jeremy Morgan of East Liverpool, Brandon Morgan of East Liverpool, Dylan Cain and his wife Courtney of East Liverpool, Dawson Cain and his companion Gionna Hammerle of Lisbon and Morgan Cain of Rogers; four great-grandchildren Benjamin Blair of Canfield, Arabella Morgan, Cohen Ingle and Tanner Ingle all of Martinsburg, W.Va.; three brothers Lee Morgan and his wife Debbie of Sardis, Ohio, Jay Morgan and his wife Peggy of New Cumberland, W.Va. and Jan Morgan and his wife Holly of Chester; two sisters Charlotte Terry and her husband Wayne of Myrtle Beach, SC and Dorothy Dawson and her husband Randy of New Cumberland, W.Va. and his furry companion D.O.G. whom he liked bringing cheeseburgers too.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Friday where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Pastor Mark Plegge of the Abundant Life Church will conduct a service on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Riverview Cemetery.
