EAST LIVERPOOL -- Cindy A. Tice, of East Liverpool, passed away Saturday morning, November 13, 2021, at Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville. She was 67.
Born in East Liverpool, June 7, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Bert Shields and Evelyn Miller Thompson. A resident of this area all her life, for 24 years she was a day care provider where she owned and operated Mammies Day Care.
She is survived by her husband, Larry J. Tice, Sr. at home. The couple married July 7, 1973. She will also be fondly remembered by her children: a daughter, Crystal Knepp and her husband, Jim, and two sons, Larry J. "JR" Tice and his wife, Holly, and Jeff Tice and his wife, Deanna, all of East Liverpool. There are ten grandchildren: Brittany, Kenzi, Riley, Kyila, Cassady, Khloe, Paisley, Brinley, Nolan and Blake, and one great-grandchild is expected in June.
A sister survives as well, Darlene Mason and her husband, Terry, of East Liverpool.
Family and friends may visit Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
