EAST LIVERPOOL -- Charles A. Pardell, 73, of East Liverpool passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021.
Charles was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on June 25, 1948 a son of the late John J. and Elsie (Gross) Pardell, Sr. He was a graduate of East Liverpool High School Class of 1966. Charles was an Army veteran serving in the 101st airborne during the Vietnam War. He was a recipient of the purple heart. Charles was a life member of VFW Post 66, Blinded Veterans of America, American Legion Post 374 and an honorary life member of DAV Chapter 37.
Preceding Charles in death were two brothers Francis and Keith Pardell.
Left to cherish his memory are his son Jason James Pardell of Edina, MN; two sisters Julie Reed of East Liverpool and Joyce Pardell of East Liverpool; brother John J. Pardell, Jr. of East Liverpool and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Thursday where the family will be present from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Fr. Leo Wehrlin will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday 12 p.m. at Holy Trinity Parish at St. Aloysius. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery where Tri State Veterans Burial Group will conduct military honors.
