EAST LIVERPOOL -- Ana Cruz Osburn, 86, of East Liverpool passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Ana was born in Hagatna, Guam on January 10, 1935 one of eleven children of the late Juan G. and Dolores W. Cruz. She worked as a dipper and in the coloring room at Hall China. Ana also worked as a cook for Catholic Charities Senior Center. She was a member of St. Blaise Catholic Church. Ana was a former member of St. Ann's Catholic Church where she was a member of the Rosary Club, Women's Guild and served as an altar worker.
Preceding Ana in death were her husband, whom she married February 18, 1957, James Osburn; daughter Dorie Ann Osburn and son-in-law William Heaton.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters Mary Heaton of Warren, OH and Patsy Johnson and her husband Daniel of East Liverpool; four grandchildren Veronica Parnell and her husband Thomas of Warren, OH, Andrea Heaton of Warren, OH, Isabella Johnson of East Liverpool and Gabrielle Johnson of East Liverpool; three great grandchildren William James Parnell, Logan Paul Parnell and Mackenzie Parnell all of Warren, OH and sister Marquita C. Toves of Guam.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Thursday where the family will be present from 5 – 8 p.m. Fr. Kim Schreck will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday 12:30 p.m. in the Upper Room at St. Blaise Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
