Timothy Derek “Dunt” Kirkland

Timothy Derek "Dunt" Kirkland, 47, of Midland, Pa., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 20, 2021, after complications with Covid-19.

Dunt was born July 29, 1974, to Harry Michael and the late Mary Lee Kirkland. He was a graduate of Beaver Area High School Class of 1992 and Pittsburgh Technical Institute with an Associates in Architectural Design.

A businessman at heart, he enjoyed feeding people through his catering business -- Ida B's BBQ and Catering -- which was known across the Tri-State area for not just the homemade BBQ Sauce but also "The Sammiches" and "10 Dolla Holla".

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving Wife, Christina; Son, Josiah "Paco"; Father, Harry Michael Sr; Brothers, Harry Michael Jr. (Judy), Rick (Rondi), and Levie (Tonya); Sisters, Harriett, Tami, and Machelle; a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

There to welcome him to Heaven is his Mother, Mary Lee Kirkland; Grandparents, Levie Harrison, Ida Bell Long, Toog Evans, and Betsy Kirkland; Brothers James Edward Kirkland, John Edward Kirkland, and Kevin "Mac" Kirkland; Uncles, Eugene Harrison and Lonnie Craft; an Aunt, Lovate Craft and a cousin, James Taylor.

He loved the Lord with all his heart and was a member of Mt. Calvary Chapel, Midland Pa.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at 10 am at Holiness Church of Christ, 6349 Tuscarawas Rd., Industry, PA 15052, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 12 pm. Interment will follow in Beaver Cemetery. Professional services provided by PITTS FUNERAL HOME OF ALIQUIPPA, 920 Franklin Ave., Antonio Pitts, Funeral Director.
