EAST LIVERPOOL - Nora B. Edgar, of East Liverpool, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at the Calcutta Health Care Center. She was 101.
Born in Bennington, Oklahoma, May 17, 1920, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary McDonald Faulkner. She moved to this area in 1946 and for over 30 years had worked at the former Zach's Women's Clothing store in East Liverpool.
For nearly 68 years, Nora was married to Charles "Al" Edgar. He passed away March 27, 2016. She was also preceded in death by eight siblings and her first husband, John F. Flesch, who passed in 1946.
She is survived by a daughter, Kay Burns and her husband, Ed, of Akron, as well as a son, Don Edgar and his wife, Carey Dailey, of Columbus, Ohio, and her special friends, Dave and Jean Ryan.
Services were private at the Dawson Funeral Home. Nora will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery.
