EAST PALESTINE - Nathan Charles Brereton, of East Palestine, formerly of East Liverpool, passed away Friday, Sept. 24, 2021. He was 30.
Born in East Liverpool, Aug. 19, 1991, he is the son of Denny and Julie Fullerton Brereton of East Liverpool. A graduate of East Liverpool High School Class of 2010, he then studied at the Ohio Valley College of Technology. A Certified Medical Assistant, he recently began work at Briarfield Place in Boardman.
Nate loved baseball and was a Pittsburgh Pirates fan. He discovered a new passion in life when he began to help coach his son's little league team this fall. A gifted artist, he enjoyed calligraphy and drawing, as well as pursuing music. Bud, as many called him, played the drums with several bands and many friends over the years. He also shared memorable times fishing and camping with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Braedyn Brereton and Jaxon Brereton; two sisters, Emily Brereton and Meghan Brereton; as well as his maternal grandmother, Charlotte Fullerton, and his paternal grandparents, Denny and Karen Brereton Jr., all of East Liverpool. He is also survived by his fiancee, Katie Carroll, at home. He will also be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Terry Fullerton, and a cousin, Jake Cooper.
Family and friends may visit Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Pastor Dirk Hall will conduct a funeral service Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
