EAST LIVERPOOL -- Scott D. Kidd, 64, of Orchard Grove Avenue passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 at 10 :25 a.m. in the Emergency Room at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Born January 29, 1957 in East Liverpool, he was a son of the late Dale A. Kidd, who passed away April 4, 2008 and of Lois M. Kleman Kidd of East Liverpool, Ohio.
A lifetime area resident, Scott was fortunate to work various jobs that offered him the opportunity to travel and live in parts of Europe and Puerto Rico. He was Presbyterian by faith.
Scott helped for many years with the church in producing the "Pageant on the Hillside". He had a passion for classic films and hosted a weekly movie night at the East Liverpool Learning Center. Every Friday was board game night, and he will be missed by all his fellow players, Jeff Todd, Clark Miller and his brother Craig. Scott was generous to a fault and often put his family and friends ahead of himself.
In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by one brother, Craig S. Kidd and his wife, Julie of East Liverpool, Ohio; his nephews, Justin and Jhett Boyd; and his loyal companion, Daisy, his dog.
In addition, Scott leaves behind his closest friends, Joe Hunter and Deborah Wall.
Friends may visit the family on Sunday, August 22nd, 2021 at the Dawson Funeral Home in East Liverpool from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Norm Eckert of the Beechwood Free Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank Valley Oaks Care Center of East Liverpool for their compassion and caring for Scott for the months that he was there.
