Rosemary (Rose) C. Serra passed away on June 28, 2021 at the age of 68 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her son, Anthony D. Serra, her brothers and sisters Francis J. Wargo, Dr. Thomas (Tracy) Wargo, Margaret (Tim) Viancourt, Kathryn (Mario) Cancelliere and John J. Wargo. Rosemary is survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Dagmar (Oberg) Wargo and brother David M. Wargo.
Rose completed her Bachelor's degree in English/Education at Walsh University. She attended University of Akron School of Law where she received a law degree and was also an adjunct Professor of Law. As an attorney, Rosemary practiced law for over thirty years in Canton, Ohio. She was involved in numerous committees and professional organizations. Rose was a board member at Saint Joseph's Senior Living as her motto was in helping others in need.
Rosemary was a kind, compassionate soul who devoted her life to family and friends and will greatly be missed by all.
Visitation hours will be at Reeds Funeral Home, 801 Pittsburgh Ave., North Canton, Ohio Thursday, August 12 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A Celebration of Life mass will be Friday, August 13 at the St John's Evangelist Catholic Church, 16017 Smith Rd. Summitville, Ohio at 12:00 p.m. There will be a receiving at the church 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
