Jean Balco Cozma

INDUSTRY -- Jean Balco Cozma, 95, of Industry, died August 14, 2021, in her home. Born June 19, 1926 in Latrobe, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael A., Sr. and Mabel Petrosky Balko.

A graduate of Lincoln High School and the Rochester School of Nursing, she was a retired nursing supervisor at the City Hospital of East Liverpool, OH. She was a former Girl Scout leader and was a member and past Deacon of the First Presbyterian Church, Midland.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Cozma in 1993, her sister, Virginia "Sis" DeVilling and her brother Byron "Bunny" Balco.

She is survived by her loving daughters and son-in-law; Linda Cozma and her companion Lenny Laird, Aliquippa, Denise Cozma, at home, Patricia and Dr. David E. Tomaszek, Conroe, TX, grandsons; Evan Tomaszek, Conroe, TX, Josh (E'Leece) Lorey, The Woodlands, TX, her brother and sister-in-law; Michael "Sonny" and Angie Balco, Beaver.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 3 – 7:00 p.m. in the D. L Williams Funeral Home, 848 Midland Ave., Midland.

A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, Midland, with Pastor Judy Angleberger officiating. Internment will follow in Beaver Cemetery, Beaver.
