Rosemarie Ensinger

EAST LIVERPOOL — Monday afternoon, April 19, 2021, Rosemarie Ensinger went home to be with her Lord Jesus. Born April 1, 1930, Rosemarie was the seventh child of Emmett and Bertha Campbell Green. She graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1948, and married Kenneth Ensinger in 1951. Rosemarie and Kenneth spent fifty years together until Kenneth’s passing in 2001. Their two children are Stephen and Lisa Ensinger, both of East Liverpool.

Rosemarie worked for Ohio Bell for more than thirty years in East Liverpool and Steubenville. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, a board member, choir member, Sunday School teacher, and she was a representative of the Nazarene Women’s Missionary Society. She currently attended Northside Community Church. She was a Telephone Pioneer member and served in several capacities for the East Liverpool school system, as a reading volunteer at LaCroft Elementary, a member of the PTA, and of the Kiwanis Scholar’s Committee. Rosemarie loved to play the piano and sing, and fondly remembered her time in the Harmonettes during high school.

Besides her children, Rosemarie also leaves behind a sister-in-law, Patricia Ensinger, and nieces and nephews, Carolyn Adney, Marianne (Tim) Louk, Ronald (Joyce) Bush, Marlene (Philip) Rickerd and Diane (Eric) Eccelston.

Rosemarie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and all of her brothers and sisters, Clarence, Lawrence, Emmett and Ralph Green, Evelyn (Green) Bush and Ruth (Green) Drum.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of people in the funeral home at one time will be limited to maintain proper social distancing protocols, and in compliance with the orders of Governor Mike DeWine, masks must be properly worn while in the funeral home.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Larry Rose of Northside Community Church officiating.

Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
