James Beattie
FALLENTIMBER , PA–James W. “Jay” Beattie, Jr., 44, passed away early Friday morning from injuries sustained in a pickup truck accident on the Ohio turnpike.
He was born Jan. 22, 1974 in Sewickley, Pa, a son of James W. Beattie, Sr. and the late Donna L. (Bonach) Beattie.
He worked as an RV Transporter for Indiana Transport.
Jay was also a U.S. Navy veteran.
In addition to his father and step mother, James and Carol Beattie, Leetonia, he also survived by his fiancÈe, Deb Myer; daughter, Sarah Bettie , Fallentimber; sister, Sherry Leonard of Gillette, New Jersey; brother, Fred Toms of Polo, Illinois; step-brother, Michael Stover of Orville, Ohio.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
