Evan Geisse

Evan Geisse, 18, of Oak Glen High School graduating class of 2021, has been chosen for the Lions Club Scholar of the Month for April.

Evan resides in Chester with his parents Joe and Vicky Geisse and brother Gavin Geisse.

Evan has an overall GPA of 3.78. He was selected for the National Association of High School Scholars. He was chosen for the American Legion Mountaineers Boys State, as well as the WTOV 9 Scholar Athlete of the Week. Evan is a 2 year letterman for Oak Glen Baseball and a 3 year letterman for Oak Glen football. In his spare time, Evan enjoys spending time with friends and family. He also does car detailing as his job.

After graduation, Evan plans on pursuing a degree in exercise physiology or business. He will attend a nearby college in the fall semester.

Isabella Morris

Isabella Morris has been selected as Scholar of the Month for February at East Liverpool High School.

Isabella ranks #1 in her class with a 4.0 cumulative GPA, taking Advanced Placement, College Credit Plus, and Career and Technical classes. She is a member of the Outdoor Adventure Club, Booster Club, ELHS marching and concert bands, the Varsity tennis team, Tri-M National Musical Honor Society, National Honor Society, and National Technical Honor Society. Isabella is a completer in the Early Childhood Education program at East Liverpool High School. In addition, Isabella was Freshman and Sophomore Class Treasurer. She was selected to participate in the County Honors Band and as a delegate to Buckeye Girls State.

Isabella is a member of the Glenmoor Presbyterian Church where she often volunteers. She also donates her time as a tutor for an elementary school student, at the East Liverpool Jazz Festival and helping to clean the park.

Isabella plans to attend Youngstown State University to major in Early Childhood Education.
