Schreffler named Student of the Month

LISBON — Cheyanne Schreffler, daughter of Ben and Leanne Schreffler, has been chosen the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center’s November Student of the Month. She is a half-day CCCTC student from Lisbon David Anderson High School and is enrolled in the Vocational Job Training Program under the instruction of Ms. Stephanie Coie and Mrs. Linda Rudibaugh. Her future plans are to work with horses to become a horse trainer. She is a member of the Lisbon band flagline, the Drug-Free Team, and the track team. She has worked at the CCCTC during her summer breaks as a maintenance assistant. She currently works through the Vocational Job Training Program at both the Dutch Village Inn and Campbell Signs and Apparel as a post-production assistant. She feels the CCCTC was a great choice for her because it gave her the opportunity to see many different careers, stating, “I have learned a lot about myself through my work experiences. I am more confident in my abilities and I feel that I am developing my leadership skills which will benefit me in the future.”

She was nominated by Ms. Coie and Mrs. Rudibaugh who state, “Cheyanne is an exemplary worker who brings real energy and initiative to the job. Cheyanne is an excellent student who always tries her best to complete her academic work to a high standard.”
