EAST LIVERPOOL — Nate Stierwalt, student at John D. Rockefeller Career Center, recently signed his letter of intent to join local company, Hill International Trucks.

Typically, letter of intents are signed by high school athletes committing to various colleges and universities to further their academic and athletic careers. A new trend, however, showcases high school or career center graduates signing to join the workforce instead, like Stierwalt.

“We are extremely excited to have Nate joining our team here at Hill International,” said Rocco Longo, Operations Coordinator at Hill International Trucks. “Hosting these signing events is very important to us and we hope to hold many more of these in the future.”

Stierwalt interned with Hill International during the summer of 2018 and instantly knew he wanted to start a career with the company. Once he officially begins at Hill International, Nate will work as a body shop technician.

“Nate will be a great asset to our team,” said Body Shop Manager, Chris Sosack. “He’s a great worker and we have a lot planned for him here at Hill International.”
