The Liverpool Township Fire Department Station 8 recently hosted the First Grade classes at LaCroft Elementary. The firemen had excellent information for the students on how to stay safe in a building fire or car accident. They also told students how important it is to have smoke detectors in a home. The eager students were given the opportunity to try on a uniform and spray the fire hoses. At the end of the visit, students presented the firemen with handmade thank you notes praising their hard work and sacrifices. (Submitted photo)
