EAST LIVERPOOL -- Tyler Hall, son of Greg and Tara Hall of East Liverpool, has been chosen by the Calcutta Rotary Club for the Beaver Local Student of the Month for May. He has turned in a total of 155.5 community service hours.
His community service activities include BLHS prom, BLHS homecoming, Shaker Woods Festival, BL Basketball boosters, First United Methodist Church youth room, BLHS reverse raffle, DI tournament, BLHS golf outing, East Liverpool car show.
"Community service is important to me because it helps me get out in my community and meet new people, learn new skills and keeps me active.
His school activities include band, show choir, Masquers club, Varsity B club, English Honors Club, FCA Club, Academic Challenge, SAAD Club, musical Golf.
