North Elementary STEM Club recently completed their pilot program to offer S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and math) enrichment classes for the month of April 2019. For the STEM pilot, 45 North students were given the opportunity to choose between Snapology Superheroes (kindergarten through 2nd graders) or Castles, Kingdoms or Wizards (2nd through 4th graders) every Thursday in April. Special thanks to Heritage Thermal Services for their education grant and the Team MOJO Foundation for their support of our students. For the month of May, Minecraft is the theme and registration is now open. Parents may sign their students up at www.pittsburgh.snapology.com to enroll. The cost is $5/week. Spots are limited.
