MIAMI, Fla. – Michael Rowe, formerly of Salineville, graduated May 21 from The Johnson and Wales University in North Miami, Fla., with an Associate of Science degree in Culinary Arts.
Rowe will continue his education in the fall pursing a Bachelors of Science Degree in Food Service Management. During the summer, he will complete an 11-week Culinary internship at the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Hollywood, Fla.
A 1984 graduate of Southern Local High School and Columbiana County Joint Vocational School, Rowe is the son of the late Renate Rowe.
Retired from the U.S. Navy, he currently resides in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and is a cook at the Cleveland Clinic of Florida employed by Aramark Corp.
