Municipal LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, cases against Lillian Simms, 24, Prospect Street, Salem, were bound over to the county grand jury for fourth-degree felony burglary and misdemeanor disorderly conduct for allegedly entering her former apartment the day after she was evicted by going through a back window on Aug. 19 in Perry Township. Sheriff’s Office — A deputy was dispatched at 9:43 p.m. Saturday to the area of Depot Road and state Route 172, Hanover Township, for a suspicious call of two people walking southbound in the road. The deputy checked the area, but did not find anyone. — A deputy stood by at state Route 45 at Saltwell Road, Center Township at 6:54 p.m. Saturday while Lisbon police took a woman into custody after an incident in the village. Municipal Travis Whaley, 54, last known address Hillview Drive, Hanoverton, was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 90 days suspended and credit for 28 days serving, leaving a balance of 62 days still to serve in jail for domestic violence. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and to have no contact with the victim. Whaley slammed a woman on the floor of a Hanoverton residence on July 23.
