Sheriff’s Office — A caller at 6:34 a.m. Thursday on Y & O Road, Madison Township reported a rug on their deck was moved and bunched up in another location. The rug was in the correct position when they went in for the night, but when they awoke, the rug was moved. There were no suspects in this case, although the caller believed it was a person known by the sheriff’s office to be in prison. Court News LISBON — A former Wellsville man accused of assaulting a jail employee in January was sentenced to nine months in prison, to be served following his current 11-month sentence for a probation violation.
