Sheriff Reports — Deputies responded to state Route 45 in Wellsville for a domestic dispute at 1:46 a.m. Tuesday. Upon arrival, deputies spoke to a woman who advised that Ronald Knight, 51, state Route 45, Wellsville, struck her in the face several times and spit on her. Municipal LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, cases against Lillian Simms, 24, Prospect Street, Salem, were bound over to the county grand jury for fourth-degree felony burglary and misdemeanor disorderly conduct for allegedly entering her former apartment the day after she was evicted by going through a back window on Aug. 19 in Perry Township. Sheriff’s Office — A deputy was dispatched at 9:43 p.m. Saturday to the area of Depot Road and state Route 172, Hanover Township, for a suspicious call of two people walking southbound in the road. The deputy checked the area, but did not find anyone. — A deputy stood by at state Route 45 at Saltwell Road, Center Township at 6:54 p.m. Saturday while Lisbon police took a woman into custody after an incident in the village. Municipal Travis Whaley, 54, last known address Hillview Drive, Hanoverton, was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 90 days suspended and credit for 28 days serving, leaving a balance of 62 days still to serve in jail for domestic violence.
