East Liverpool —After receiving a complaint on Oct. 29 that Joseph Mason was leaning on a pole appearing to be under the influence of something outside Nikki’s Market, Dresden Avenue, officers went to check on him. As officers were leaving the station, dispatch told them there was an active warrant for Mason out of the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Reports —A deputy at 4:28 p.m. Tuesday investigated a report of a suspicious man in the woods near the federal prison, FCI Elkton, waving down cars as they passed by. Contact was made with the man on the rear porch area of a residence on Scroggs Road, Lisbon and he was identified as Terry Lee Banks of Minnesota. Banks, 49, was taken into custody on a charge of criminal trespass and booked into the Columbiana County jail, with other potential charges pending.
