Court News LISBON — An East Liverpool man charged with passing bad checks was found not currently competent to stand trial, but with a probability of being restored to competency. Shawn Peddicord, 43, Wilbert Avenue, was charged with one count of fourth-degree felony passing bad checks for allegedly attempting to defraud a man with a check written for $17,650 on Jan. 30. Sheriff Reports — The family member of an inmate at the federal prison, FCI Elkton, Scrogges Road, Elkrun Township, called at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday requesting assistance. The family member wanted to make the prison staff informed of a situation going on with the inmate, however they could not get in touch with the prison through the posted phone number.
