Sheriff's Office

-- A deputy was dispatched at 6:16 p.m. Saturday to Yeager Drive, Madison Township for a domestic violence report. All parties involved separated for the night.

-- A deputy was dispatched to Buck Road, Knox Township for a medical call involving a person who fell and hit their head and was not responding. Upon arrival, the person was responding and transported to Aultman Alliance Community Hospital, Alliance, by Sebring EMS.

-- Smith Township police dispatch in Mahoning County called at 9:06 p.m. Friday regarding a call about a motorcycle on the property of Williamson's GMC, U.S. Route 62, Knox Township, revving the engine and causing a disturbance. A deputy checked the property but didn't find anything.

-- A deputy was dispatched at 5:0 4 p.m. Friday to an apartment on Grant Street, Center Township, due to an odor. The deputy could not locate any odor and spoke with the homeowner, who said everything was fine.

-- A woman in Washington Township on Haiti Road called at 3:01 p.m. Sept. 29 regarding a possible protection order violation within a property exchange. She was notified by deputies there was no protection order in effect at this time.

East Liverpool

- An officer filed a report with child protective services for review after investigating a call of two young children home alone at a Shadylane Drive residence Sept. 18. The officer spoke with the oldest of the two children, both of whom are under the age of 10, and the child told him there were no adults in the residence, and it was just him and his sister. The child Facetimed his mother who said she had left for work about 25 minutes prior, and the babysitter should have arrived by that point. The mother was able to get hold of the upstairs neighbor who said the children could stay with him until their mother got home from work.

- An officer investigating a Sept. 18 complaint of two people walking up the hill, staggering in the middle of Lisbon Street, searched the area and located a male who told him his car was stolen at the country club near Parkway. The officer contacted Liverpool township officers who arrived and took a report.

- Officers took a report for a sexual assault complaint on Sept. 18.

- Officers investigating a complaint on Sept. 18 of a male camping out behind the dumpster next to Dollar Tree on Walnut Avenue spoke to the male who started grabbing his things preparing to leave when the officers arrived. The male told the officers he had only put his stuff back there to go into the store. The officers told him that the management did not want him there and he had been trespassed from that area and if he was caught there again, he could be arrested for trespassing.

- Officers were requested to Woodland Hills on Sept. 19 for two females arguing. Officers spoke to both females and found the issue was over yelling at the other's kids and advised her that if she a problem with the children to speak with the parents first to resolve the issue.

- Officers conducted a welfare check on Sept. 19 on a juvenile at Minerva Street residence after receiving a request to do so by phone. The caller said they were to pick the juvenile up at the bus station, but she was not there when they arrived. The homeowner said the female had left the house earlier that morning and hadn't seen her since. The caller requested that the female be listed as a missing person due to the issues with her mother and her being unable to contact her since earlier that morning. The female who is mentally low functioning was entered into Leads as a missing person.

- Officers were requested to return to a St. George Street residence for a second time on Sept. 19 for a report from a male saying he is being threatened by a female who said she was going to post stuff on Facebook that could expose him and he wanted her charged. The officers had responded to a call regarding this couple arguing earlier. While officers were speaking to the female and advise her to leave the male alone, the male called her while the officers were standing there. Officers told the male that if he does not want to speak to the female he needs to leave her alone and not call police when she tries to contact him to get her in trouble. Both parties were told to leave each other alone for the night.

- Officers investigating a report on Sept. 18 of a female hitchhiking on Bradshaw Avenue located the female who told them she was feeling dizzy and was hoping to get a ride to Woodlawn Hills and that she had a ride coming and would be waiting for him.

- An officer waived down by a male near the Kinsley Dance Studio on Sept. 19 found the male to be highly intoxicated and hardly able to stand. The officer tried for several minutes to get information from the male but was only able to get that his brother lived at Faucet Apartments. Officers transported the male to Faucet Apartments, and he was taken in by his brother.

- A male came to the police station on Sept. 19 to report that another male was threatening him and provided police with two voice mails where the other male stated he was going to kill him. He told officers he was not afraid of the male but wanted the threats documented in case of future incidents.

- Officers conducted a welfare check on Sept. 20 at a Minerva Street residence after being informed by a caller that her adopted daughter had not been seen for a while and they believed she was staying at that address. The homeowner told the officers that the female had been staying there but left several days prior and has not returned. Officers told the homeowner to call the police if she returns.

- An officer responded to a call for an unresponsive male at a Lincoln Avenue residence on Sept. 20. The officer found the male was lying on a couch when he arrived and tried several times to wake him up. The male slowly started to become alert and that he was OK after drinking a normal amount for a Saturday night. The officer stood by while East Liverpool EMS performed a medical check on the male who refused to go to the hospital.

- Officers conducted a welfare check on Sept. 21 on children at a Vine Street residence. The officers were greeted by a male who already knew why the officers were there. The male told them that the children were sleeping and they were welcome to go check on them and said that his ex-wife called them because of a Facebook meme that was posted for Halloween and there was no witchcraft happening there.
