Columbiana County Sheriff's Office
- A deputy responded to South Grant Street at 7:04 p.m. July 23 in reference to a pig roaming in the roadway abandoned by its previous owner. The deputy had a humane officer respond to take the pig.
- A Mississippi resident reported at 6:05 p.m. July 23 a friend had posted on Facebook she was going to commit suicide at the East Carmel Cemetery in Middleton Township. A deputy checked the cemetery with negative contact. The phone of the person in question pinged to a location in Asheville, North Carolina, and the deputy contacted that police department.
- A Grant Street, Center Township, resident reported at 3:58 p.m. July 23, reported the strap that was holding her outdoor camera to a tree was cut off and the camera fell to the ground
- A Yellow Creek Township resident reported at 3:52 p.m. July 23 the mother of his son came to his residence the previous night while he was at work. He said the mother is not permitted to be on his property, but continues to harass him over his underage niece watching their son while he works over night. He was advised to contact his attorney.

East Liverpool
- Officers responding on July 12 to a May Street residence for a report of a man with a knife outside spoke to the male who was aggravated about the neighbors. Officers did a weapons check on the male and found no weapons. The male was advised to inside and ignore the neighbors and not cause any disturbances outside.
- A traffic stop was conducted on St. Clair Avenue on July 12 for a vehicle being for which a license plate check showed a suspended license. The driver told the officer he should no longer be suspended because he had insurance but was unable to show proof of insurance or a valid license. The vehicle he was driving was towed by First Class Towing.
- A male who has been told multiple times by officers that he cannot be sleeping on the stairs and was previously provided with resources for shelters was again told by officers on July 12 after he was observed sleeping on the steps of AFK Gaming that he could not be living on the steps and was told that he was being trespassed from that location and if he was seen there again he would be charged with criminal trespass and taken to jail.
- Norman Bender, 49, was issued a citation for an open container after officers observed him on July 12 at the Dollar General on Dresden Avenue with an open container inches away from him.
- Officers responding on July 12 to a Green Lane residence for one to be removed were advised the call was due to a verbal argument and the female had already left.
- Officers observing a vehicle parked in an unsafe position on Lisbon Street on July 12 spoke with the occupants and told them to not leave their vehicle in that area to avoid traffic issues after they told the officers they removed a dead groundhog from the road. Officers also advised them if they were going to do something like that to wear proper reflective gear to be seen to avoid any possible safety concerns.
- Barbara Ours, no age or address listed, was issued a citation for no driver's license during a July 12 traffic stop on Jackson Street.
St. Clair Township
- An officer investigated a complaint of an impaired driver by conducting a traffic stop on the reported vehicle on St. Clair Avenue on July 12. During the stop the officer spoke with a female who said she had previously been involved in an ATV accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury which affects her speech and with certain lights affecting her eyes while driving and she had seen several deer on her way to Sheetz and was driving more cautiously. The officer did not detect the odor of alcohol or observe and indicators of consistent with alcohol and noted that the driver's speech and mannerism appeared consistent with the medical condition she described and released the driver with a verbal warning.
- An officer spoke to a driver who was reported to be sleeping in his car at a gas pump at Sheetz on July 13 and was told by the driver that he was door dashing and didn't want to go home due to arguing with his girlfriend and didn't want to go to his mother's house. He said he was just really tired. The officer checked the driver's eyes and noted no odor or an alcoholic beverage or marijuana coming from the vehicle or him and advised him he could not sleep at Sheetz and if he was too tired to drive to go another parking lot and rest.
- Officers went to a Fisher Avenue residence on July 14 where they issued Ryan Smith an updated citation for a Feb. 5 incident and an up-to-date BMV 2255 form from his OVI suspension. The officers told Smith his driver's license was suspended from that moment for 90 days due to not having any prior OVI suspensions and that he could appeal the suspension through the court and was given a court date of Aug. 8.
