SHERIFF REPORTS
-- A deputy was dispatched at 9:12 p.m. Tuesday to Columbiana Lisbon Road, Fairfield Township, for a domestic violence report. Both parties signed a refusal to prosecute and one party left the residence for the night.
-- People were reported screaming in the area of Woodland Drive, Fairfield Township in the 1800 block at 8:49 p.m. Tuesday. A deputy checked the area, but didn't find anyone.
-- A deputy was dispatched at 5:46 p.m. Tuesday to the parking lot of McDonald's, state Route 45, Center Township, for a woman and man pushing a shopping cart from Dollar General. A deputy and a Lisbon police officer both spoke to the man and woman from St. Clair Township and there were no issues. They had permission to use the shopping cart to transport the items they purchased over to McDonald's to wait for their ride. After unloading the items, the man returned the shopping cart to Dollar General.
-- A woman on Valley Road, Butler Township reported at 4:51 p.m. Tuesday that her 16-year-old niece was being harassed on the Internet by unknown people.
-- A man who resides on state Route 7, Elkrun Township reported at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday that his bank credit/debit card was stolen from inside his unlocked vehicle parked in his driveway overnight.
-- A man on state Route 170, Unity Township reported at 3:22 p.m. Tuesday that he purchased a dog off of the Internet from a breeder in Guernsey County for $300 that he paid through the Cash App, then he paid $3,200 through the Cash App to U.S Cargo Logistics for the dog to be shipped to his residence. He said U.S. Cargo Logistics will not ship the dog and were demanding more money, and when he checked into the information for the breeder and U.S. Cargo Logistics, it appeared to be falsified. He was advised to contact the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office and advise them of the information.
-- A deputy at 9:08 p.m. July 9 returned a call regarding a menacing complaint in West Township.
-- A caller at 4:19 p.m. July 9 reported juveniles were driving a golf cart recklessly in the area of Orchard Knoll Drive, Lisbon. A deputy checked the area, then made contact with the mother of one of the juveniles. She was advised it was okay for the juveniles to ride as long as they had an adult with them. She said she understood and would make sure an adult was supervising.
