-- A caller on Shady Lane, Center Township reported at 7:57 p.m. Saturday that a woman was walking on and off the roadway throwing her hands in the air. A deputy spoke with the woman from Lisa Lane, Center Township, who was walking off the road back to her residence.
-- A caller in Hanover Township reported at 7:24 a.m. Saturday that a white truck was parked on Woodsdale Drive in front of her driveway blocking access to her garage so she could not leave. She tried contacting the neighbor to move the truck but they didn't answer the door. Deputies found a large white Chevy 2500 HD truck with Indiana registration parked the wrong way on Woodsdale Drive almost directly in front of the woman's garage. Deputies attempted to make contact with the vehicle owner at the home with negative results. The truck was towed by Baker's Towing, with a citation pending once the driver is identified.
-- Deputies were dispatched at 11:27 p.m. Friday to Cherry Street, Knox Township, for a domestic violence report involving multiple family members. Upon arrival, some family members had left and the family members on scene did not want to file charges. Deputies spoke with the family members who left and they also did not want to press charges.
-- A man on Knox School Road, West Township called at 8:59 p.m. Friday to report a vehicle sitting at the end of his neighbor's driveway on Sandy Spring Road, West Township. He said someone threw something out of the window and drove off. A deputy checked the area, but didn't find anything.
-- A deputy responded at 8:38 p.m. Friday to Mattix Road, Center Township, for a domestic violence report. All parties involved separated for the night.
-- A man on Center Road, Knox Township reported at 2:35 p.m. Friday that his neighbor stopped in front of his residence and was recording him and two other people who were there.
-- A deputy was dispatched to Woodsdale Road, Butler Township, for a private property accident involving an e-bike at 10:01 p.m. July 9. Winona EMS transported the person to a hospital in Mahoning County.
-- A welfare check was requested on a juvenile at 9:09 p.m. July 9 on state Route 14, Unity Township. The juvenile was fine, with a report sent to child protective services.
-- A deputy was dispatched at 8:38 p.m. July 9 to state Route 14, Unity Township for a domestic violence report. All parties involved signed a refusal and separated for the night.
-- A deputy was dispatched at 6:53 p.m. July 9 to Adams Road, Unity Township for a domestic violence report. All parties involved signed a refusal.
-- A disturbance was reported at 4:41 p.m. July 8 on state Route 170, Unity Township. Deputies were advised the people causing the disturbance left on a motorcycle.
Highway Patrol
-- Gary E. Graham, 68, state Route 7, Columbiana, was cited for right of way after his vehicle turned right onto state Route 7 from a private drive and struck a northbound vehicle driven by Kaeden E. Sutton, 22, Wasco Cove, Negley at 6:59 a.m. July 10 in Fairfield Township. No injuries were reported.
-- There were no injuries after a toolbox fell from a southbound vehicle on Sprucevale Road at 5:54 p.m. July 9 and was struck by northbound vehicles driven by Anastasia L. Markata, 33, Poland, and Joshua M. Hanna, 29, Walnut Street, Rogers. Both vehicles sustained damage, with the unidentified driver of the southbound vehicle leaving the scene.
-- Cody A. Smith, 23, Ohio Aly, East Liverpool, was cited for assured clear distance after his northbound vehicle on state Route 7 in Middleton Township struck the rear of a northbound vehicle driven by James A. Grimes, 65, Leslie Road, Rogers at 4:27 p.m. July 9. No injuries were reported.
-- Paul E. Dando, 67, Peace Valley Road, Rogers, was cited for left of center after his vehicle traveled left of center while making a left turn onto Peace Valley Road from state Route 558 and struck a vehicle driven by Thomas Buckius, 37, South Market Street, East Palestine, who was stopped at the stop sign on Peace Valley Road, at 558 at 11:58 a.m. July 9 in Unity Township. There were no injuries.
-- Hunter G. Baldwin, 21, Hazel Run Road, Salineville, was cited for assured clear distance after negotiating a curve to the left while northbound on state Route 164 and striking a road closed sign at 7:20 a.m. July 7 in Wayne Township. There were no injuries.
-- Indiah M. Pullie, 24, South Walnut Street, East Palestine, was cited for assured clear distance after her northwestbound vehicle on state Route 45 in Lisbon struck the rear of another northwestbound vehicle driven by Noah A. Baylis, 25, Atwater, who was stopped at the traffic light on 45 at Saltwell Road at 10:27 a.m. July 6. Both drivers suffered suspected minor injuries but were not transported. Two passengers in the Pullie vehicle were not injured.
-- Jeremiah L. Oldaker, 19, Wood Street, East Palestine, was cited for left of center after his northbound vehicle on state Route 165 began passing another vehicle and struck a southbound vehicle driven by Hunter E. Hays, 22, Youngstown, then drove off the road and overturned before coming to rest against a utility pole at 5:56 a.m. July 6 in Unity Township. Hays wasn't injured, but Oldaker was transported by East Palestine EMS to St. Elizabeth Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
-- Guytano A. Milano, 51, was cited for reasonable control after his northbound motorcycle overturned at 4 p.m. July 5 in Butler Township on state Route 9. Guytano suffered suspected minor injuries, but was not transported. His passenger, Denise M. Milano, 53, Youngstown, was transported to Mercy Health, Youngstown by Hanover Township for suspected minor injuries.
-- David A. Hertzler, 59, Oakdale, Pa., suffered suspected serious injuries and was transported by Stat MedEvac to UPMC in Pittsburgh after his vehicle was traveling the wrong way on U.S. Route 30 in the left lane and struck a northeastbound Ohio State Highway Patrol vehicle in the left lane driven by Trooper Lucas Hause head-on, causing the cruiser to overturn and partially go into the right lane striking a northeastbound vehicle driven by Melanie M. Nalette, 32, West Seventh Street, East Liverpool at 8:16 p.m. July 4 in East Liverpool. Hause suffered suspected minor injuries and was treated at East Liverpool City Hospital. Nalette and her two passengers suffered no injuries. The report did not list any charges, but noted under Hertzler's name that alcohol was suspected.
