Sheriff’s Office

— Deputies responded to the 4400 block of Kirk Road at 9:58 p.m. June 15 in reference to vehicle stolen from the 7500 block of Kirk Road.

— A Campbell Road resident reported at 11:42 a.m. June 15 someone from an unknown number had said they were looking for her son and said they would be coming after the two of them.

— Blaine Vadino was charged with domestic violence after deputies responded to a Longs Crossing Road home in Salem Township at 6:20 p.m. June 15 where he allegedly assaulted a family member.

— A deputy spoke with a complainant who reported at 5:13 p.m. June 16 two people attempting to sell Dish services to their mother on Kurtz Road, but neither person had marked shirts or vehicles and claimed to be from a third party. They were asked to leave multiple times before they did.

— Deputies responded to a Glasgow Road home at 4:59 p.m. June 16 in reference to a person having a mental health crisis. The person did not meet the criteria for mandatory medical admission, but agreed to seek help at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Youngstown.

— A Coffee School Road, Butler Township, resident reported at 2:32 p.m. June 17 he observed on his camera while away from home a motorcyclist pull into the driveway and look in the windows of a vehicle parked at the home. A deputy checked the home, but did not find anyone.

Highway Patrol

— David Foster, 58, Alliance, was cited for failure to control following a one-vehicle crash on state Route 644 in Franklin Township at 5:37 p.m. June 8 in which he was southeastbound and drove off the right side of the roadway, striking a guardrail. No injuries were reported.

— Samuel Joseph Bryan, 35, East Liverpool, was cited for right of way when turning left following a two-vehicle crash on Lisbon Road at Sue Drive in Center Township at 8:06 a.m. June 10 in which he was northbound and failed to yield while turning left, pulling into the path of a southbound vehicle driven by Roy Odess Paparodis, 68, Salem. Bryan was transported by North Star EMS to the East Liverpool hospital for suspected minor injuries.

— Albert William Taylor, 24, Hopedale, Ohio, was cited for failure to control following a two-vehicle crash on state Route 11 near mile post 22 in Fairfield Township at 8:47 a.m. June 10 in which he was northbound and lost control of his vehicle while attempting to pass another northbound vehicle driven by James A. McFarland, 57, Wellsville, striking the rear of McFarland’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.

— Molina Gregory Chirnos Jr., 35, Pittsburgh, was cited for failure to yield following a two-vehicle crash on state Route 165 at Heck Road in Unity Township at 9:49 a.m. June 11 in which he was eastbound and failed to yield from a stop sign, striking a northbound vehicle driven by Carlos Antonio Monteiro, 38, Beaver Falls, Pa. Monteiro was treated on scene for possible injuries.

— Sharon Colleen Lodge, 61, Estill Springs, Tennessee, was cited for failure to obey traffic control signals following a two-vehicle crash on Georgetown Road in Knox Township at 1:50 p.m. June 11 in which she was westbound and struck the overhead structure of a bridge. An eastbound vehicle driven by Timothy J. Pelfrey, 41, Louisville, Ohio, attempted to avoid striking Lodge’s vehicle and struck the overhead structure of the bridge. Debris from Lodge’s vehicle also struck Pelfrey’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.

— Wandafaye M. Wagner, 75, Washington, Pa., was cited for failure to yield right of way following a two-vehicle crash on state Route 11 at the state Route 154 ramp in Elkrun Township at 12:33 p.m. June 12 in which she was entering state Route 11 from the eastbound ramp and struck a vehicle driven by Duncan West Lee Hildebrand, 28, East Liverpool, who was entering state Route 11 from the westbound ramp. Wagner was treated on scene for possible injuries.

St. Clair Township

– Officers took a report on June 11 for a vehicle that was reported to be vandalized while parked overnight at Sheetz on St. Clair Avenue. Sheetz employees are going to follow up on surveillance video.

– An officer spoke with a male over the phone on June 11 who reported he was scammed out of $450 for a Butler Brand racing seat through Facebook Market Place. The male said he paid for the item through Apple Pay. The male, who lives in Virginia, told officers the person who scammed him lives on Ivan Court in East Liverpool.

– Officers called NorthStar to transport a female to the hospital after she told officers responding to a call to remove her from a Calcutta Smith Ferry Road residence on June 13 that she was having a panic attack and was worried about her heart. The female and a male were evicted from the property by the owner and had until June 15 to clear the premises.
