Sheriff’s Office

— An alarm was reported at 11:05 p.m. Saturday at Dollar General, state Route 172, Hanover Township. The keyholder was on scene and all doors and windows were secure.

— Aultman Alliance Community Hospital requested a welfare check at 10:20 p.m. Saturday on a patient from Slater Road, Butler Township, who left the hospital against medical advice and was on narcotics. A deputy spoke with the woman, who was at her residence and was fine.

— A Franklin Township woman at 8:14 p.m. Friday reported her ex-boyfriend is continuously driving past her residence on state Route 518.

— A deputy was dispatched at 3:40 p.m. Friday to the 27000 block of Main Street, Knox Township for a person who called 911 while driving and was having a medical issue. North Georgetown Fire Department was on scene. Damascus EMS transported the person to Aultman Alliance Community Hospital in Alliance.

— Deputies were dispatched at 8:22 p.m. Thursday to Taco Bell, state Route 45, Center Township for an assault report between two employees. One employee was relieved of their duties per the manager.

— A man on Carmel Achor Road, Middleton Township reported at 7:29 p.m. Thursday that his 15-year-old stepson refuses to listen to him and disrespects him.

— Neighbor troubles were reported when a woman on state Route 517, Elkrun Township called at 7:18 p.m. Thursday to report her neighbor, another woman, was on her lawnmower and near her fence.

— A woman on state Route 14, Unity Township reported at 5:45 p.m. Thursday that her neighbor was at her residence banging on the door yelling over the property line, then went back to his residence.

— A deputy was dispatched at 11:15 p.m. June 3 to the 28,000 block of Walnut Street, Damascus Friends Church, Butler Township, for a truck driving in the area blasting music. The area was checked but nothing was found.

— A man on Spillway Road, Hanover Township reported at 7:41 p.m. June 3 that his ex-wife of Hanoverton was in contempt of a court order by arriving at his residence to drop off a book bag to one of their children.

— A deputy at 7:45 p.m. June 2 assisted Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office on a vehicle they stopped in the 11,500 block of state Route 644, Hanover Township that was involved in the alleged theft of a trailer in their jurisdiction in Brush Creek Township. A Jefferson County Deputy Sheriff took a Florida man into custody for theft. The stolen trailer was located at a residence in Franklin Township. The owner was contacted and came to retrieve the trailer. The homeowner where the trailer was located in Franklin Township won’t face any charges of receiving stolen property due to purchasing the trailer and not knowing it was stolen at the time.

— Jenna Frenzel, 26, Canfield, was cited for reasonable control after her westbound vehicle traveled off of Neeld Road in Unity Township at 3:49 a.m. June 1, striking a ditch and traffic sign on Adams Road. No injury was reported.

— Katy L. Edwards, 21, South 12th Street, Homeworth, was cited for assured clear distance after her westbound vehicle on Buck Road struck another westbound vehicle from behind at 3:13 p.m. May 31 in Knox Township. The other vehicle was driven by Robert G. Hippely, 81, Buck Road, Alliance. No injuries were reported.

— Lorraine Rae Hollabaugh, 84, state Route 14, East Palestine, was cited for improper turn after her vehicle made an improper left turn from state Route 14 onto state Route 165 and struck a vehicle stopped on state Route 165 and driven by Michael Palm, 29, Cortland, at 9:40 a.m. May 29 in Unity Township. No injuries were reported.

— Serenity I. Burkett, 18, Academy Street, suffered a suspected serious injury and was flown to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown by Stat MedEvac after her northbound vehicle traveled off of Hazel Run Road, Washington Township at 8:05 p.m. May 28, re-entered the road and then traveled off of the west side, striking a tree. Two passengers were not transported for suspected minor injuries.

— Carolyn L. Bishop, 84, Hookstown, Pa., was cited for reasonable control after her vehicle went off of Baker Road and struck a mailbox in Hanover Township at 5:35 p.m. May 28. She suffered suspected minor injuries and was taken by Hanover Township EMS to East Liverpool City Hospital.

— Steven D. Guappone, 42, Leetonia Road, Leetonia, was cited for reasonable control after his southbound vehicle on Leetonia Road made a right turn onto Lodge Road, struck a Leetonia school bus and overturned at 4:16 p.m. May 27 in Salem Township. The bus was driven by Dawn Tittle, 64, Leetonia. No injuries were reported by either driver or the children on the bus.

— John S. Probst IV, 43, Youngstown, was cited for reasonable control after his eastbound vehicle traveled off of state Route 7 in Fairfield Township at 6:12 a.m. May 20, striking a ditch and culvert. No injury was reported.

— Robert Callahan, 50, New Garden Road, Salem, was cited for reasonable control after his southbound vehicle traveled off of state Route 9, striking a utility pole and embankment at 12:12 a.m. May 20. No injury was reported.

— Trent J. Ellyson, 20, East Rochester, was cited for reasonable control after his westbound vehicle went off of Speidel Road, he overcorrected and crossed the center line, with the vehicle traveling left and striking a utility pole at 11:03 a.m. May 19 in Hanover Township. No injury was reported.

— Vinton K. Milbank, 76, Randel Road, Hanoverton, suffered suspected serious injuries and was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown by EMT after his northbound motorcycle on state Route 9 struck a deer crossing the road at 5:34 a.m. May 18 in Hanover Township.

— A 16-year-old girl from New Springfield was cited for a stop sign violation after her westbound vehicle on Heck Road struck a vehicle drive by Bryan R. Snyder, who was northbound on state Route 165 at 8:08 p.m. May 16. No injuries were reported.

— William W. Graffius, 58, Woodsdale Road, Salem, was cited for assured clear distance after his westbound vehicle struck another westbound vehicle from behind at 7:47 a.m. May 16 in West Township. The other vehicle, driven by Larry H. Lucas, 53, state Route 172, East Rochester, was waiting to turn left into a private drive. No injuries were reported.

— Kevin Gentile, 29, Valley Road, Salem, was cited for assured clear distance after his eastbound vehicle struck an eastbound vehicle from behind driven by Rebekah Marshall, 18, Southeast Boulevard, Salem, pushing the Marshall vehicle into an eastbound vehicle driven by Denise McKinley, 55, Alliance at 5:22 p.m. May 15 in Perry Township on U.S. Route 62. No injuries were reported.

— Michael Kibler, 31, Severance Street, Homeworth, was cited for reasonable control after his vehicle crossed the center line on Georgetown Road in Butler Township, traveled off of the road, stuck a ditch and overturned at 1:54 p.m. May 15. He suffered suspected minor injuries but was not transported.

— Jason Vanhorn, 50, Lower Elkton Road, Columbiana, was cited for reasonable control after his vehicle traveled off of Lower Elkton Road in Fairfield Township at 10:14 p.m. May 14, striking a ditch and utility pole. He suffered suspected minor injuries and was taken by EMT to Salem Regional Medical Center.

— Juan M. Perez, 62, San Antonio, Texas, was cited for reasonable control after the semi truck he was driving west on Middleton Road in Fairfield Township at 9:21 a.m. May 14 went off of the road and struck a ditch. No injury was reported.

— Rickey L. Blake, 37, state Route 46, New Waterford, was cited for reasonable control after his northbound vehicle went off of state Route 46 in Unity Township at 7:36 a.m. May 13 and struck a culvert and fence. No injury was reported.
