— An active alarm was reported at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday at Farmers National Bank, U.S. Route 62, Damascus, with all windows and doors found secure. Nothing suspicious was seen.

— An active alarm was reported at 12:53 a.m. Tuesday at XL Sand and Gravel, state Route 170, Middleton Township where workers running a water pump line nearby reported not seeing anyone around. The scalehouse and other buildings were found secure with nothing suspicious found.

— A deputy on routine patrol at 12:25 a.m. Tuesday located an occupied vehicle at Elkrun Park in Elkton, which is closed from dusk to dawn and marked with signs. The occupant said they were just enjoying the weather and the quietness of the park. She agreed to leave.

— An active alarm was reported at Chris Burkey Plumbing, state Route 170, Middleton Township at 11:28 p.m. Monday. All doors and windows were found secure.

— Deputies responded at 7:52 a.m. May 16 to a 911 call at state Route 39, Washington Township, with dispatch advising of a second call from a man who reported being assaulted by a woman. When deputies arrived and talked to the man at his vehicle, he said his friend woke up angry and starting swinging at him and struck him several times. Deputies attempted to make contact with the woman, who was refusing to open the door to the home. She finally came to the door after the man called and told her a deputy said she would be arrested if she didn’t come to the door. Deputies learned the man was the one who called 911 twice and the two were just friends with no children and no shared home. They signed refusals for assault and deputies stood by while the man gathered yard sale items and left.

— A woman on U.S. Route 62, Knox Township reported at 5:42 p.m. April 30 that a dress was stolen from her residence, then returned back to her by the person who took it. A theft warrant was issued for the responsible party.

— Duchess Shoppe, U.S. Route 62, Knox Township report a theft by an employee at 3:40 p.m. April 28. A warrant for theft was issued for the person.
